Jakarta International College

Dear JIC Family,

We're excited to share some incredible news about our outstanding alum, Feodora Inggrid Tanuwijaya! Currently enrolled at the University of Sydney, Feodora has been elected as the President of the Indonesian Student Association New South Wales (ISA NSW). ISA NSW, a student-led organization, is passionately committed to uniting Indonesian students in NSW and promoting Indonesian culture globally.

ISA NSW oversees branches such as PPIA University of Sydney, PPIA University of New South Wales, and more, creating a vibrant community run by students under the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in New South Wales.

In her role as President, Feodora will serve from 2023 to 2024. Her duties include overseeing internal departments, guiding event planning, and establishing external partnerships for events or membership benefits. This is a significant honour, as she not only leads the organization but also represents Indonesian students in Sydney, fostering connections early on.

Feodora, an alum of the Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY) at JIC, later transferred to the University of Sydney to pursue studies in digital cultures and international business. During her time at JIC, she co-founded the JIC Dance Club and served as its leader, showcasing her leadership skills and effective communication with faculty members.

In the spirit of preparing students for their academic journey, we encourage those heading abroad to consider joining student organizations. Beyond enhancing their resumes, it's an opportunity to develop crucial leadership and organizational skills. At JIC, numerous student organizations and activities provide a platform for students to get involved and practice these valuable skills.

Congratulations to Feodora once again! We believe her achievements mark just the beginning of a successful journey. We're incredibly proud and wish her continued success in all her endeavours.

Thank you, and see you at JIC.
